About Me

Hi there! My name is Nate Stevens and I'm a portrait, lifestyle, and headshot photographer based in Historic Downtown Gresham, serving the greater Portland area. For over a decade, I've been capturing the unique spirit of everyday people - from musicians and actors to CEO's, farmers, engineers, surfers, salespeople, and more.

My passion is to tell the stories of individuals who are dedicated to creating something meaningful with their lives. I believe that the things we do and allow into our lives, as well as the things we choose not to do, all add up to create a picture of who we are. I find this fascinating and it inspires me to create beautiful, thought-provoking photographs.

My love of art extends beyond photography. I have a neurological condition called synesthesia, which allows me to experience auditory sensations when I see certain colors and color combinations. This allows me to connect emotions and experiences to my art and I often draw inspiration from music, film, literature, and other visual arts.

In my free time, you'll likely find me with my amazing partner Liz, our two kids, and our three-legged husky. We love exploring the outdoors, tending to our garden, going for hikes or trips to the river. I'm excited to share my passion for photography with you and hope to hear from you soon!
